Dear Veronica,
Thank you for conducting the Stress Reduction Workshop for Project Hope staff on October 4, 2006. It certainly was a well attended, and everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy the presentations and activities. I'm very glad I took time out of my schedule to present to my staff. I particularly enjoyed the brainstorming activity when we listed the various things that stress us at work. It was interesting to hear what others had to say and to be able to provide input into the process. I also thought the meditation sessions were very helpful. Project Hope staff is under a lot of pressure, and your approach enabled them to work on the skills they need in order to temporarily release themselves from their day-to-day stressors. I think the game we played at the end of the session was a good way for everyone to share some of their inner thoughts and it provided some good, light-hearted fun. Finally, the video you presented gave us all the opportunity to put our stress management skills to work and presented the staff with another chance to share their frustrations and offer encouragement to one another.
I really appreciate all the time and energy you put into developing and presenting this workshop. It's a pleasure working with you, and I wish you every success in the future.
Sincerely,
D H R π·

Dear Veronica:
I am writing to thank you for your presentation at our monthly NAMI meeting on January 5, 2004. I was fortunate that you were available to speak to our family members. I believe the audience (caregivers of the mentally ill) needed to be educated on how to develop and deal with anger. Of course, I am speaking about the anger relating to both the ill person and his/her family members. I received some positive comments from our family members. Their one repeated critique was that you presented the material in such a way that they could relate to. They felt your delivery added some humor to a very sad and serious issue. I believe humor is a great way to introduce the topic and allow awareness of the problem in a relaxed way.
I hope I can impose on you to speak again. I teach a program called Family to Family for NAMI. Maybe I could have you as a speaker during one of our twelve week courses. I will stay in touch to see if you are available.
Thanks again,
Janice K. Kenny, President π·

Thank you Veronica for helping me take control of my anger reactions and behaviors. Because of your classes, I am no longer on probation at my job and have been hired for my third year as a teacher. I am also on the curriculum committee for the District of Riverside Schools. I have become part of the leadership team at my school and have been named chair and was nominated for βTeacher of the Yearβ.

Ms Veronica,
The Parenting Class on September 25, 2006, hosted by the Homeless Education Department of the Clayton County Public Schools went well, mainly due to your participation. Your component was especially relaxing to all those in attendance. The families were able to receive your information that was very valuable. Ms. Veronica, it is individuals like yourself that enable us to connect our families to get assistance in areas we cannot meet.. Again, on behalf of the families we serve, we thank you!
With Warm Regards, π·

Dear Veronica Histed,
As you well know I come from a varied background of emotions and behaviors in the range of anger to rage to violent actions. Because of these emotional outbursts, due in part to gang affiliation and multiple hospitalizations I've lived (up until recently) a fairly disastrous lifestyle.
Your anger management classes that I attend twice a month have had an incredible impact on how I perceive, communicate, and act when my anger arises. I personally believe this statement is true due to several factors.
I've been through several anger management courses previously and found that all of them had one thing in common, they were all centered around domestic violence and did not implore the subject of mental illness at all. Your classes not only explore the mental health angle but also encompass it as one of the main pieces of subject matter.
Number two, the way that you discuss and explain the topic and how to find a more positive way of dealing with it is so radically different than my own learned point of view that it keeps me interested and attentive throughout the session.
Finally number three, When I leave your class I always feel more upbeat, as though I am really gaining a great deal of knowledge.
Now that all of this is said, Thank you very much for making the future brighter.
Sincerely,
Daniel Thompson
Dear Veronica,
When we first met you spoke to me about destiny. I too, believe that everything happens for a reason and that our meeting has truly changed my life. No one has ever told me that I am a natural leader and therefore, I must teach. The fact that you can see my strengths and then encourage me to move forward when I double myself is a beautiful gift to give. Thank you. I hope to affect the lives of people as much as you have affected mine when I enter the art therapist field.
Sincerely,
Liz Callahan
Mrs. Histed was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the paper work process. I had consolidated my student loans, applied for the public loan forgiveness program, and have received notification that I qualify. During this process I enrolled and have begun a PhD program. I am well on my way to pursue my educational goals.
Thank you,

This letter is to inform you of how pleased, and blessed I am to have found Veronica Histed, She has been extremely helpful and patient with my questions about furthering my education, and was prompt with returning my calls with any misunderstandings from Walden University. I highly recommend her to the following fellow class mates who are on the same direction as myself... I am sure they will have the same awesome experience as Me..
Thank you! Leticia M.

Dear Ms. Histed,
I wanted to reach out to you and express my deepest appreciation for you and the work you do. As you know my calling upon you and your expertise was not by chance, through a mutual acquaintance we were connected. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. Once I was connected with you and explained my story to you, your enthusiasm and motivation truly gave me the extra drive to push on with my education. I came to you, because I was told you could help me with my student loans that I accumulated from prior studies. Through sharing my plans of the far future, little did I know that you would show me the door to the next chapter in my life journey. Ultimately the decision has always been mine, but again, your dedication to your clients and giving positive reinforcement of students success is what made me feel I was in the right hands. I am older, not straight out of high school, so I did have reservations about going back to school. You, Ms. Histed really helped me believe in myself, to push forward through fear and do my best. Even at the start when there were obstacles with finding the right school for me, you searched until the school that was perfect to meet my needs was found. I have been doing great at Belhaven University, with a 3.7 GPA. I am due to graduate with my Associates of Arts degree in October of 2016, and am already looking forward at another school to continue my education. You are truly a giving and unselfish individual who thinks of others needs. So, may God Bless You in your life and passions. My future self would not have been possible if God did not place you in my path. Thank you for your knowledge and continual support.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Frazier
